The course includes training on how to properly care for a child, child behavior management, leadership, business basics, and caring for common childhood emergencies such as choking and life-threatening bleeding. Participants will also practice the following skills: diapering, feeding a baby, how to safely pick up a baby, check,call-care, life-threatening bleeding and choking. For youth (ages 11–15), they will learn the following: • Good decisions making and problem solving • How to be a good leader and role model • How to care for children and infants • How to keep children and infants safe • How to handle emergencies • Resume writing
